Dragon fruit is a fruit that grows on a climbing cactus called Hylocereus, which you’ll find in tropical regions around the world such as Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Florida, Mexico, etc. The plant’s name comes from the Greek word “hyle,” which means “woody,” and the Latin word “cereus,” which means “waxen.” Red dragon fruit is different from normal Dragon fruit and Yellow dragon fruit because of its unique Red flesh.
