Bay Leaf or Laurel Leaf refers to the dried leaves of an evergreen shrub or, less commonly, a tree that grows to a height of 15 to 20 meters. The leaf's upper surface is glabrous and lustrous, and the lower surface is drab olive to brown with a pronounced rib and veins.
